Strategic planning outline and process

This is the basic outline I have used for over 30 years in all sized companies. You do not need to use all of the outline, but it gives you an idea of a full plan.
At this point what we are trying to do is decide what level of plan we need.
For smaller companies a small document of just a few pages can get the job done.
For larger companies using a number of these pages might be helpful.
The point to remember is that over the years I have found that strategic planning and thinking is a ongoing process.
It is the process not the document that will make it work.
